WORKING WOMEN’S SURVIVAL SHOW

Closet Assessment Demonstration

This volunteer brought clothes from her home to the main stage of the Show, I spent about 30 minutes going through her tops, slack, skirts and jackets. While she had a darling figure, she was hiding it with clothes that were too big. She also was inclined to the classic look but was choosing clothing in a more “natural” category. The biggest area where we made a change was in the color scheme. Geri has the coloring of a “winter” and yet was wearing colors better suited to a “spring or fall” season. Pulling out the correct colors and showing her ways to develop an enhanced wardrobe for the office left her feeling grateful and happy. She was a great sport and we followed up the presentation with shopping for some tops and jackets to compliment her and her new wardrobe!

AFTER 5 WOMEN’S GROUP

Ginny demonstrated how to build a 20 piece wardrobe with only 8 garment pieces. Accessorizing was key!

The St. Louis Women’s After 5 Group has been a favorite venue for Ginny for the past 4 years. She is always invited back and the St. Charles Women’s Group After 5 also discovered her talents last year. The women are always so wonderful and sweet and some of her biggest fans!

Business Professional v Business Casual

Over 200 participants attended the Missouri Circuit Clerk and Financial Officers Annual Convention at Lodge of the Four Seasons in Osage Beach, MO. Ginny presented a workshop on Professional Dress and Branding. The audience participation was very energetic and all enjoyed the workshop.

INDIVDUAL CONSULT

. Angie is a very active and dedicated stay at home mom. She volunteers and delivers workshops to teens on chastity. Angie had not been really interested in her wardrobe and had many outdated and items in her closet. After my wardrobe consultation, she was left with only a few pieces that fit her as she had lost weight. We then came up with a wardrobe plan, and eventually built a wardrobe that mixes and matches, and suits her color and fits her body type. She started receiving many compliments and was not used to being in the limelight. The change in her wardrobe left Angie feeling cheerful and confident!Three years later, she still receives many compliments, but has become accustomed to them and receives them very graciously.

POLITICIAN . This pretty, intelligent and caring woman was in the House of Representatives until she termed out. She was running in a very close race in the north county of St. Louis when I offered to help her with her image. She was so busy concentrating on and learning about issues along with traveling back and forth to Jefferson City and taking care of a family that she had not taken time to care for her image. .. This successful pediatrician works in a very busy practice and is also the mother to 5 children, including triplets. She has very little time to get ready for her day before work, juggling the many tasks of getting kids off to school and arriving to work. An easy hairstyle, learning to apply make-up in 5 minutes or less, and selecting clothing in the best colors for her have added to her vitality and professional look. As a result of her image makeover, Dr. Esswin has witnessed a dramatic change in her perceived approachability by the parents of her patients.

YOUNG PROFESSIONAL

.Tiff is the Director of Urban Future, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to sponsoring supplemental education programs for St. Louis urban youth. Her image needed to reflect her purpose and passion. She wanted to look the part so she could do the part.Her transformation demonstrates her dignified position, intelligence and professionalism. Choosing a hairstyle and color to flatter her face emphasized her striking cheekbones. The deep red suit accentuates Tiff’s beautiful natural coloring. The darker color is also slimming and her jewelry helps to bring attention to her beautiful face. Shortly after her makeover, Tiff met her future husband.
